Four more local McDonalds join in on upcoming McCare Night for Turning Point

Four ADDITIONAL local McDonald’s restaurants, in Crystal Lake, Algonquin and McHenry, are joining a “McCare Night” for Turning Point that has been scheduled for Wednesday, August 4th. 15% of all proceeds at the restaurants between 5:00 PM and 8:00 PM on August 4th, 2010, will be donated to Turning Point. No coupon or flyer is necessary; all purchases made during those hours will generate donations to the charity. This event is part of “Take a Stand for Turning Point” a 36 hour radiothon presented annually by Star 105.5 to raise funds and awareness for the local domestic violence agency and shelter. McDonalds is a major sponsor of the event and the local restaurants involved will present the proceeds from this McCare night at the broadcast, this year held at Algonquin Commons from 6 AM Friday, August 6th until 6 PM Saturday, August 7th Representatives from McDonald’s will pay a visit to the event at Algonquin Commons to deliver the proceeds in person, Saturday morning at 10:00 AM. 

            Turning Point is a domestic violence agency and shelter with a mission to confront violence against women and children in McHenry County.  The eight restaurants involved are located at 200 W. Grant Highway, Marengo, 125 S. Randall Road, Algonquin, 10711 Route 47, Huntley,  840 Northwest Highway, Fox River Grove, 7617 US 14  Crystal Lake, 551 Crystal Point Dr  Crystal Lake, 505  E Chicago St  Algonquin and 522 S Rt 31  McHenry.
