Turning Point Volunteer Coordinator Jennifer Kenning maintains a “wish list” with items needed for our food pantry, supply closet, shelter and kids program. This is for you generous souls who want to purchase items needed at Turning Point. It’s also helpful to print and distribute if you are doing a “Drive” to collect food or supplies for Turning Point- these are the most needed items!
Here’s Jennifer’s note:
Dear Turning Point Friends and Volunteers,
There have been some recent changes to our wish list. Shelter staff has told me that there is a definite shortage of warm weather clothing in their clothing closet. They are in need of new t-shirts, tank tops, shorts and sandals, or flip flops in assorted sizes for both women and children.
Our shelter children’s advocate has asked for long sleeved paint smocks for the children. She has been doing some wonderful art therapy projects with the children using paint, but said that it would be much less stressful if the kids had smocks. She could also use paint canvases and good paint brushes for acrylic paints.
Thank you so much for your support!
