Donate to Turning Point
Turning Point is a 501(c)3 not-for-profit organization confronting Domestic Violence against Women and Children in McHenry County, Illinois. We depend on contributions from individuals, organizations and corporations to help fulfill our mission. Donations are tax deductible as allowed by law.
Donations are needed to run the shelter and the office.
Food, personal care, and clothing are also needed for our clients.
Financial Contributions
Individual and group support is critical to Turning Point's services. Turning Point has a safe Emergency Shelter for women and children fleeing violence in their homes. Now that our Emergency Shelter is open, the need for community financial support is even greater.
Every dollar helps make it possible to keep the doors to McHenry County's ONLY shelter for victims of domestic violence open.
$1,125 Will run the entire shelter for ONE DAY
$555 Will provide a shelter advocate for ONE WEEK.
$333 Will provide all meals for the shelter for ONE DAY
$165 Will provide shelter for a Mom and two children for ONE NIGHT.
$55 Will provide shelter and counseling for a woman for ONE NIGHT.
